Tsunami disaster happened on December 26, 2004 in a number of countries where a lot Tamils live. In order to raise funds for Tsunami relief efforts in Sri Lanka and India, TCSBC set up a fund-raising booth at Lansdowne Mall, Richmond, BC, Canada from January 2 -9, 2005. Members, specially the youth came forward to help us in this project to raise money for people in need. TCSBC collected close to $ 10,000 to help the people in need of this natural disaster. TCSBC thanks all the generous people in the community who supported us. We also greatly appreciate the support given to us by the Richmond Mayor Malcolm Brodie.
